A. Laser cutters should never be unattended. As we all know we don't sit and watch every cut, we could be packing an order, preparing a file, have more than one machine. The list is endless but it only takes a split second for a fire to start and get out of control.
Q. With a Fireknight fire alarm is it safe to leave my machine?
A. NO. We never advise the machine left unattended we always recommend you have a fire extinguisher at hand and you are always in the vicinity to extinguish a fire at the sound of the alarm.
Q. What Machines does this work on?
A. It will work on co2 laser cutters or Diode laser engravers. Some of our clients have fitted them to C.N.C routers/milling machines.
Q. Will the fireknight alarm extinguish the fire?
A. No it works the same as a home fire alarm it will instantly alert you when a fire has started.
